Sandra Torres works as an Evaluation & Impact Manager in the Nutrition & Industry Affairs Department.
Sandra Torres serves as Evaluation and Impact Manager at Dairy Council of California, where she leads the Data & Impact Unit, overseeing the organization's evaluation infrastructure, data visualization and storytelling, and outcomes-based measurement. She also leads organizational performance reporting, translating complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
Before stepping into her current role, Sandra served in multiple program management positions at Dairy Council of California, where she helped launch the Data & Impact Unit, built its foundational infrastructure, and led My First 1,000 Days: A Dairy Initiative, a funded project supporting mothers of infants and toddlers in California's Central Valley.
Sandra brings more than 13 years of experience in public health, with a focus on improving food access and advancing community health. Her professional experience includes roles with PHI Center for Wellness and Nutrition, Ventura County Public Health, FoodShare, Central Valley Health Network, and Network for a Healthy California. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Community Health from California State University, Fresno, and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy Leadership from the University of San Francisco.
As a bilingual English-Spanish professional, Sandra is driven by the intersection of data and community to advance nutrition and dairy access across California. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping and cheering from the stands at a baseball game.
