What materials do you have?

Dairy Council of California offers nutrition education materials and resources for the classroom, medical office and community.

Who is eligible to order free materials?

All people and organizations in California who strive to improve the health of children and communities through nutrition, teach how to eat healthfully and inspire lifelong healthy eating habits.

All resources are free in California and available at a reasonable cost outside of California.

Who pays for these free programs for California health educators?

We are funded by California’s dairy farmers and milk processors. We serve as the dairy industry’s contribution to community health, providing balanced nutrition programs and resources that improve eating habits.

Who created your nutrition education materials?

We are staffed by registered dietitians, educators and communications specialists.

Our nutrition education workbooks align with Common Core State Standards, are designed by teachers and registered dietitian nutritionists and use a proven behavior-change model.

Our Community Education Materials are Medi-Cal approved. Materials are approved by the California Department of Health Care Services as meeting readability requirements.

We pride ourselves on the quality and credibility of our programs.

How do I order materials?

You can order online or contact us by phone or email.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

It depends on the time of year. Autumn is our busiest time of year, so orders placed in the fall will likely take longer to arrive.

If you have not received your order within two to four weeks, please contact us.
