Trina Robertson is a registered dietitian nutritionist and the Health Sector & Program Evaluation Director at Dairy Council of California. She leads strategic partnerships to educate health professionals on the role of dairy in healthy eating patterns. She directs program evaluation to measure effectiveness and support continuous nutrition program and resource improvement. This work drives stronger behavior change outcomes critical to improving the health of children and communities.
Trina values strong relationships and partnerships with health providers and educators who champion nutrition for its role in preventative care. Her work led to the co-development of valuable nutrition resources designed to improve nutrition choices across California and the United States. She was co-Principal Investigator on a National Institutes of Health grant funded project through the University of California, Irvine to conduct a needs assessment on the nutritional needs in the first 1,000 days of life, which is from conception to age 2.
Trina completed her master's degree in nutrition and dietetic internship at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University
