Raj Kaur serves as a Project Manager for the Community & Schools Engagement sector at Dairy Council of CA. She focuses on building strong relationships with community members, educators, school administrators, school food service professionals and health professionals to ensure they are supported with relevant, evidence-based resources to teach students and families nutrition education for lifelong healthy eating patterns.
Raj is dedicated to improving the health of children and communities by expanding access to nutritious foods and fostering lifelong healthy eating habits. She leads strategies that connect nutrition education, food systems and student success. Her work focuses on advancing practical, research-informed programs, growing food and agriculture learning opportunities, and helping schools create environments where healthy choices are the easy choices. Through strong partnerships with educators, school nutrition teams, health professionals and community leaders, she helps drive lasting, system-wide impact
Raj earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health with an emphasis on health promotion and education from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Asian American Studies from University of California, Santa Barbara.
