Lisa Larsen serves as the Resource Content Development Program Manager for the Dairy Council of California. She oversees efforts to elevate the health of communities and improve nutrition equity through science-based nutrition education resources, partnerships and systems. Her experience includes oversight of California’s leading nutrition education programs, strategic program development, nutrition education development and assessment, school wellness strategy, facilitation and community outreach.
A nutrition professional with more than two decades of field expertise, Lisa believes that planning is the cornerstone to progress. She is a firm believer in bringing visions to life by developing a strong strategic plan with executable tactics and tangible metrics to anticipate impact before implementation, an approach she applies to her work and teaches the team. Her goal is that staff can successfully engage and empower educators, health professionals, industry and foodservice personnel to ensure nutrition, nutrition education and nutrition security remain invaluable in schools and communities.
