Elizabeth Miller

Elizabeth Miller is the Mobile Dairy Classroom Instructor located in Southern California.

Meet staff member, Elizabeth Miller.Elizabeth Miller is a Mobile Dairy Classroom Instructor with the Dairy Council of California, serving San Bernardino, Riverside, and Los Angeles counties. She joined the organization in early 2023 and is passionate about bringing agricultural education to inner-city schools, helping students make meaningful connections to where their food comes from.

Prior to joining the Dairy Council of California, Elizabeth worked as a Farm to School Program Assistant with Upland Unified School District, where she supported the development of curriculum and delivered agriculture and nutrition lessons to students in grades K–12. This experience strengthened her commitment to standards-aligned education and reinforced the value of integrating agriculture into classroom learning.

Elizabeth’s passion for dairy education is rooted in her hands-on experience at the Los Angeles County Fair, where she worked in the milking parlor for several years. During the 2022 fair, she served as the Milking Parlor Supervisor, gaining leadership experience while educating the public about dairy cows, milk production, and animal care.

Outside of her work with MDC, Elizabeth is actively involved in equitation and enjoys competing in horse shows. Her lifelong connection to animals and agriculture informs her teaching approach and helps her create engaging, relatable learning experiences for students across Southern California.
