Daniela Martinez

Daniela is the Mobile Dairy Classroom Instructor located in Southern California.

Meet staff member, Daniela Martinez.Daniela Martinez is a Mobile Dairy Classroom Instructor with the Dairy Council of California, serving Ventura County and surrounding Southern California communities. She joined the organization in 2023 and brings a strong background in agricultural education, youth development, and hands-on animal science experience to her role.

Daniela holds a Master of Extension Education from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Science with a minor in Animal Veterinary Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Her academic training is complemented by practical experience working with cattle, including time living and working at the Cal Poly Beef Unit and her work at the Los Angeles County Fair Petting Zoo.

Through her work with Colorado State University’s Extension 4-H program, Daniela gained extensive experience teaching agricultural concepts to youth in engaging and accessible ways. She is passionate about connecting students to agriculture, helping them understand where their food comes from, and building curiosity and respect for farming and animal care.

In her role with the Mobile Dairy Classroom, Daniela delivers interactive, age-appropriate lessons that bring dairy agriculture and nutrition education directly to students. She values experiential learning and enjoys creating meaningful connections that help students, teachers, and communities better understand the role of agriculture in everyday life."
