Important Resource Update

July 15, 2026 4 Minute Read

What's Changing

Dairy Council of California is refreshing its core resource portfolio beginning July 15, 2026.

As part of this evolution, we are transitioning to a more streamlined collection of high-quality, digital-forward resources designed to better meet the needs of today's educators, health professionals, and community partners. By focusing on  fewer, more impactful tools, we can ensure our resources remain relevant, practical, and grounded in the latest nutrition science.

As a result, select resources will be retired as we strengthen and modernize our core offerings.

Why We Are Making These Changes

The release of the new Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2025–2030 in January 2026 introduced the latest federal nutrition guidance and recommendations. At the same time, ongoing developments in nutrition and school meal policy continue to shape educational and healthcare environments.

These updates provide an opportunity for DCC to:

  • Align resources with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2025–2030
  • Reflect current nutrition science and policy developments
  • Better support today's classroom, healthcare, and community settings
  • Invest in digital-forward tools that enhance engagement while maintaining accessibility

Our goal is to simplify and strengthen our core resource portfolio while continuing to provide trusted, science-based nutrition education throughout California.
