Ashley Rosales, RDN

Ashley is a RDN with over 15 years of experience in supporting nutrition across the life span for optimal health and wellness.


Meet staff member, Ashley Rosales. Ashley Rosales is a registered dietitian nutritionist with over 15 years of experience in supporting nutrition across the life span for optimal health and wellness. Ashley is the Nutrition Science Officer for Dairy Council of California where she oversees efforts to elevate the health of communities through nutrition education, food access to improve nutrition security, and building equitable food systems. Ashley specializes in translational research to advance the unique and essential contributions of milk and dairy foods in healthy, sustainable eating patterns. Her expertise includes scientific and regulatory affairs, strategic planning, thought leadership and communications, as well as developing multisector partnerships and collaboration to create collective impact.

Ashley co-led development of the Well-Nourished, Brighter Futures convening and the Let’s Eat Healthy Initiative. She currently holds a leadership position with the California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and serves a member of the International Dairy Federation's Standing Committee on Nutrition and Health and the California Society of Association Executives.

Ashley received her Bachelor of Science degree in clinical nutrition from University of California, Davis. She completed the dietetic internship program at Napa State Hospital and holds a certificate in Research from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She lives in Sacramento, California, with her husband and two school-age children.
